We’re seeking individual poems on The Body’s Experience of Religion. In what ways do we experience religion, or the loss of religion, in our bodies?

We consider poetry to be almost anything, so if you have something weird (like a word search that blasts purity culture), we’d love to see it.

We’re willing to consider previously published work as long as you retain the rights. Just let us know where your work was previously published.

We do not charge a reading fee.

Poets will be paid $10 for each poem selected for publication.

Email up to 5 poems and a short bio to submissions@flippedmittenpress.com. Put “Submission: Poetry” in the subject of your email.

Deadline for submissions is January 1, 2024.

We’re currently open for genre fiction submissions. This includes fantasy, sci-fi, romance, and mystery. We’re especially interested in series potential, but we’re open to outstanding stand-alone novels too.

If you accept representation from another publisher after your submission, please send us an email so we can congratulate you and remove your submission from our list.
